Dr. Arathi surendranath

Radiation Oncology
Dr. Arathi Surendranath is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at ICCG who completed her MBBS degree in KMC Mangalore in 2002. She acquired a Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMET) in 2007 and an MD in Radiation Oncology in 2009 from Cancer Institute WIA, Adyar. Dr.Arathi achieved her Fellow and trainee in Novel RT Techniques at Malabar Cancer Center Thalassery, and her distinct pursuits include Breast and Gynecologic Oncology. She received the Dr.Padam Singh Award for Best Paper in 2008 from the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), and she showcased her expertise by presenting a paper at the American Society of Clinical Oncology Meet 2010. Dr.Arathi is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Apollo Proton Cancer Center, Apollo Cancer Institutes. Apart from her medical expertise, Dr.Arathi is a graceful Mohiniyattam Dancer and has a zeal for Painting.
Awards
- Dr. Arathi won the ‘Best Paper Award’ for a paper on Cranial Irradiation in Childhood Leukemia at the State Association of Radiation Oncologists of India, held in Chennai in 2005.
- She received the ‘Best Paper Award’ for a paper on Concurrent Chemoradiation in Stage II Laryngeal carcinomas at the State Association of Radiation Oncologists of India meeting held in Coimbatore in 2009.
- She presented a poster on Concurrent Chemoradiation in Early Stage Laryngeal Carcinomas at the Annual American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting held in Chicago, Illinois, in 2009.
